Internal Results
In addition to the final All India Trade Test (AITT), Sri Sai ITI conducts periodic internal assessments throughout the training period to monitor and evaluate each trainee’s progress in both trade theory and trade practical components. Internal assessments are an integral part of the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) and contribute to the overall evaluation of a trainee’s performance.
Purpose of Internal Assessments
- To provide continuous feedback to trainees on their academic and practical progress.
- To identify areas where additional support or practice may be required.
- To prepare trainees for the final AITT examination by reinforcing learning at regular intervals.
- To maintain a record of each trainee’s performance throughout the training period, as required by NCVT/DGT norms.
Assessment Components
Internal assessments typically cover:
- Trade Theory: Written tests on theoretical topics covered in the current term/semester.
- Trade Practical: Practical exercises and job assessments evaluated by the trade instructor.
- Employability Skills: Periodic evaluation of the employability skills component.
- Attendance: Regular attendance is a prerequisite for appearing in assessments and the final AITT.
Result Communication
Internal assessment results are shared with trainees by the institute at the end of each assessment period. Trainees are encouraged to review their performance and seek guidance from their instructors for improvement.
